“Gamavor” (“Volunteer”) is the nine-page scouting e-newsletter of the Regional Committee of Homenetmen in Latin America. It is bilingual (published in Armenian and in Spanish.

“Gamavor” was created in February 2016 by the General Assembly of Homenetmen Chief Scouts in Latin America to promote the scouting activities of all Homenetmen chapters in the region.

The first issue of “Gamavor” covered the following topics:

• The second General Assembly of Homenetmen Chief Scouts in Latin America
• The seminar of Homenetmen Chief Scouts in Latin America
• Opening events of the new scouting year of Gamk, Arakadz, and Ararad scouting groups of Homenetmen in Montevideo, Cordoba, and Buenos Aires.
• The 60th anniversary celebrations of the Ararad Scouting Group.

The issue also included an article titled “April” and dedicated to the 101st anniversary of the Armenian Genocide by Xerardo M. Mate, the Chief Scout of the Argentinian National Scouting.

All publications of “Gamavor” news and articles feature both the Armenian and Spanish versions on the same page.
