On Saturday, October 30, at 12 noon, the monument of “Anmah KHizakhneri” at Puragan, was unveiled. This event was sponsored by Homenetmen Central Committee and organized by Homenetmen-HASK Committee.

This monument is built with the help of a group of yeghpayrs from Homenetmen Western region and is dedicated to the memory of Homenetmen members who died in the recent Artsakh war. The monument is put up in the “Khizakhneri Bourag” of Homenetmen Puragan Campsite.

Hagop Der Khachadourian, representative of ARF Bureau, Tavit Ishkhanian, member of ARF Artsakh Central Committee, Pakrad Yesayan, member of ARF Supreme Body of Armenia, representatives of “Gamavoragan Sharjoum” organization, members of Homenetmen who hold their plenary sessions in Yerevan, chairmen of Homenetmen chapters of Moscow and Tiblisi who participated in the plenary sessions, current and former members of Homenetmen-HASK committee, scouts, parents of the martyrs were all present at the opening ceremony of the monument.

Homenetmen-HASK Board Chair Sister Sandra Vartanian, Yeghpayr Tavit Hagopian, member of the Homenetmen Central Committee, and ARF Bureau representative Hagop der Khachadourian, representative of ARF Bureau, gave speech on this occasion.

A wreath was laid and the monument was blessed by Priest Vrtanes Baghalian, the spiritual pastor of Sourp Hovhannes Church, of Puragan.
