On Saturday, October 30, at 1:30 pm, a naming ceremony was held at the entrance of Homenetmen Puragan Camp. The ceremony was sponsored by Homenetmen Central Committee and organized by Homenetmen. -HASK committee.

Hagop Der Khachadourian, ARF Bureau representative, Tavit Ishkhanian, member of ARF Artsakh Central Committee, Pakrad Yesayan, member of ARF Supreme Body of Armenia, Homenetmen Central Committee members who hold their plenary sessions in Yerevan, Homenetmen members, Yeghpayr Karnig Mgrdichian’s family members, loyal friends, and acquaintances were all present at the commemoration of Yeghpayr karnig.

 The ceremony was addressed by Homenetmen Central Committee Chairman Yeghpayr  Vatche Najarian and Yeghpayr Njteh Mgrdichian who represented the Megrdichian family. Priest Vrtanes Baghalian, pastor of Sourp Hovhannes Church in Puragan, blessed Yeghpayr Karnig’s monument and prayed for his memory.

The ceremony ended with the chanting of “Harach Nahadag” anthem.
