On Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 10:30 a.m., Homenetmen Central Committee Chairman Yeghpayr Vatche Najarian, accompanied by the executive secretary, Yeghpayr Vicken Avakian had a meeting with the head of the medical delegation that arrived in Lebanon from Fresno, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia in Fresno, Yeghpayr Berge Apkarian. The Honorary Consul visited Lebanon, under the patronage of the Armenian Parliamentary Block Office-Lebanon to provide free medical care to the Lebanese-Armenians in need through Lebanese-Armenian charities.

The seven-member delegation included four Homenetmen doctors: the chairman of the Homenetmen Fresno Chapter, Vatche Vasilian and his wife, Kouyr Garine Lepejian-Vasilian, Yeghpayr Van Boghossian and Yeghpayr Garo Khachigian.

During the cozy meeting, Yeghpayr Berge Apkarian expressed his satisfaction with the warm reception of the Lebanese-Armenians and noted that the values of service and charity are strengthened in him thanks to his upbringing at Homenetmen. He proudly stated that his children also follow his path and principle of rising through Homenetmen and raising others with them.

The meeting ended with mutual wishes for new humanitarian plans and successes always keeping Homenetmen's name high.
