Armenian Scout Day
Inspired by the noble spirit of St. Vartan and his warriors, Homenetmen Scouts have long declared Vartanants—a holiday of the Armenian Church commemorating St. Vartan and his generation—as Armenian Scout Day.
This designation was officially established in February 1982 during the first Pan-Homenetmen Chief Scouts Conference, held in Athens.
