Homenetmen is the abbreviation of the first letters of the Armenian words for “Armenian General Union for Physical Education and Scouts”.

Homenetmen is a Non-Governmental Organization that runs operations both in scouting and sports. Homenetmen consists of 108 chapters and units in 24 countries around the world.

Established in 1918, Homenetmen has a global structure. The organization’s Armenian branch is called Homenetmen-HASK (Armenian National Scouts Organization) and represents the country’s national scouting movement. As such, Homenetmen-HASK is a member to the World Organization of the Scout Movement.

Homenetmen Membership is open to all Armenians, regardless of their gender or faith.
