MONTHS OF INTENSIVE PAN-HOMENETMEN ACTIVITY
The worldwide Homenetmen family is entering a busy and dynamic season of activity. From the Middle East to Europe, Armenia, the Americas, and Australia, Homenetmen's regions and chapters across the globe are preparing to take part in five major scouting, promotional, organizational, and social initiatives organized by the Central Executive Committee.
The series of events will begin on July 13 in Germany with Homenetmen's first-ever Danube River Cruise. This seven-day voyage will bring together friends and benefactors of Homenetmen, who will enjoy a pleasant social atmosphere while visiting seven cities in four European countries including Germany, Austria, Slovakia, and Hungary.
Another first for the organization will follow on July 20-22 in Yerevan, where Homenetmen's promotional coordinators from around the world will convene for a three-day conference.
Participants will discuss modern approaches to engaging today’s youth and explore ways to make Homenetmen more accessible to broader segments of the Armenian community. The program will also include visits to professional communications and media centers.
Scouting activities likewise occupy a prominent place among Homenetmen's pan-Armenian initiatives. From July 21-23, a seminar for participants of the organization’s “Ararat” rank will be held in Aghveran, Armenia with the participation of 63 senior scouts. Having completed eighteen months of theoretical and practical training, participants will present their research projects and, during the opening ceremony of the Pan-Homenetmen Jamboree, receive the highest rank in the organization’s scouting program.
The "Ararat" Rank seminar will be followed by the 13th Pan-Homenetmen Jamboree in Puragan, which will bring together more than 900 scouts from Homenetmen’s 28 regions worldwide. The Tehran Armenian Cultural "Ararat" Organization (HMAG), as well as the "Sipan," "Nairi," and Isfahan "Ararat" organizations, will also participate.
Held under the motto "Standing Firm for Ararat," the jamboree will take place from July 24 to August 2, 2026. As always, highlights will include a multicultural day, a hike to the summit of Mount Aragats, a public parade through Yerevan, and a commemoration of the heroic Lisbon Operation.
At the end of September, activities will shift to Sydney, Australia, where senior scout leader training courses for the "Vgayal" rank will be conducted with the support of Homenetmen's Central Executive Committee and the participation of specially assigned scout leaders from Europe. A member of the Central Executive Committee will accompany the program.
The 2026 cycle of Pan-Homenetmen events will conclude on November 5-6, when the worldwide Homenetmen family gathers in Yerevan for its 12th Inter-Steering Committee Conference. This session will be preceded by the fourth conference of Homenetmen's Central Executive for the 2023-2027 term.
